We are at the airport waiting for our airplane to depart to Penang. While waiting at the waiting room, Declan spotted airplanes taking off and landing. He was overly excited over the airplanes. Every time an airplane take off, he will tell Tiger Mom “Look Mommy.” Declan’s expression was priceless! It’s seems like a good start of a vacation.
Declan is wearing Ralph Lauren Top, and Gap jogger pants with DC shoes.
Declan is posing for the album cover of his mix tape.
We arrived late at Penang. So our first official day is actually visiting the Kek Lok Si Temple and Penang Hill the next day. Declan was making silly faces while waiting for the bus to arrive. And yeap, that’s his 2nd pose for his mix tape.
Just before we arrived at the temple, Declan spotted pigeons on the street. Tiger Mom’s dad, which is Declan’s grandpa decided to feed the pigeons with some breadcrumbs. However Declan feels that the pigeons can eat more, so he went ahead and feed them too!
Finally, Here’s the look of the Kek Lok Si Temple.
Declan’s grandpa is teaching Declan how to worship the Buddha by forming the praying hands.
Declan is intrigued by the written blessings on the colored silk cloth at the lucky trees. Grandpa taught Declan how to hang a “written blessings”. Declan can’t stop and keep asking for more.
while we are outside waiting for our bus to come, Declan saw hundreds and hundreds of turtles. He quickly asked for Grandpa’s breadcrumbs to feed the turtles. We were then stuck at the turtle feeding just because Declan was counting how many turtles were there. He started counting one to twenty and back to one as he can only count up to twenty at a time. It’s so adorable to see Declan was putting so much effort on counting the turtles.
When grandpa’s breadcrumbs was gone, Declan finally allow us to change his clothes. We then wait for the next bus to Penang Hill. While waiting for the bus, Declan take pictures with Grandpa at the old swing and make funny faces with Grandma.
It’s 6pm in the evening and finally we arrived at our next destination which is the Penang Hill. Declan was so excited that he could ride the train to the top of the hills.
Once we are at the top of the Penang Hills, taking family picture is mandatory!
